Default cooling fans?

my question is......i deleted my ac in my 97 lt1, i know the main fan will still work but will the secondary one still come on automatically? or will i have to wire it to a switch so i turn it on?

You don't have primary and secondary fans. They are tandem. They both come on at the same time. Low speed then high speed.

oh ok i see thank you for the help. so if the car is getting warm can i hook up a third fan in front of the radiator? it runs no hotter than 180 in traffic and 160 when cruising.

is this ok?

With those temps you don't need any more cooling. They are plenty cool. Stock fan ON temps aren't until 226°.

ok cool i just like to keep it as cool as possible. i already went to the elec. water pump.
