Turn Signal Capcitor Hey guys, I'm replacing the cap for my turn signals tomorrow. Not too sure how to access it under the dash or what I need to remove. Can anyone chime in? I'm sure this isn't something that comes up too often.
There are two flasher units, both clipped to the underside of the dash (one on the left / the other on the right) via metal clips, both with two wire "L" shaped two-pin connectors; one is for the turn signals, one is for the hazzards.
To find which ever is burnt out, turn the opposite control ON, find that flasher, then (by process of elimination) the opposite unit is the one to replace!
