Default Is there any difference in 94-97 4L60E's?

As some of you have read in my other post, my tranny didnt like the track last night so now im in the market for another 4L60E. I just wanted to know if there is any difference in any of the years. I know 93's are not shifted electronicly. I know 96-97 are OBDII cars so is there any difference in those compared to my 95???? I'm sure this has been asked before but your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

96 and 97 are different, something with the 97s using different style shift solenoids.

94s are different than 95s (PWM TCC solenoid) and I'm thinking 96-97s are the same.

So I take it 94 trans will only work on 94 cars and 96-97 trans will only work on 96-97?

A 96-97 might work in a 1995, but I know the multi-pin harness connector is on the RH side of the case, where it is on the LH side in 1995. The pinout should be the same, though. Not sure about the harness length and being able to reach.

94s and 95s would need slight modifications to swap to each other. I suppose 96-97 could be modded to work on a 1994 as well.
