Default What headers and exaust should I buy?

I have a 94 TA, mostly stock. I think next mod is gonna be headers and exaust. What should I buy? And what is the difference between shorties and long tubes, performance wise? I like the BBK shorties.

It's been proven that shorties aren't worth much. 1 3/4 inch longtubes are the only way to go. As far as exhaust pretty much most 3 inch catbacks will gain similar numbers in HP. Pretty much whatever sounds good to you.

Pacesetter/Hooker/Jethot Longtubes + Magnaflow/Borla/GMMG exhaust. The loudness depends on the user

IMO, shorties are a waste of money. I have BBK's on my car from the previous owner and even he agreed that all they helped with was sound.. No real power increase to be felt.. Sounds like a waste of ~$350 to me!

Get LT's, ORY, and a nice catback. You will wake that car up a bit

you have many options for longtubes. pacesetter being the cheapest, kooks being the most expensive. edelbrock, hooker, lpp, jet hot and mac are other options. all will produce roughly the same power. get a y pipe that works with your headers. install a merge collector to smooth out the flow and kill some rasp. if you want to add cats because of the noise they will cost you about 4 rwhp. as for a catback, get a GMMG
