Default Where to trim Valve covers for 1.6s

I know there are some pictures floating around here, i remember seeing them, but i can't find them. Also do the CC Magnum 1.6 (just roller tips) need the VC trimed to fit? http://www.compperformancegroupstore...416-16_600.jpg

I know they aren't top of the line, but i have them already from a different project and they are going on my DD, 99% of the time under 3k, that last 1% maybe 4,500rpms, its a daily driver.

pictures would be awesome.

Because there is no roller fulcrim then most likely not. You didn't look very hard if you can't find it:

You don't have to do all that work. Just straighten out the small lip on the bracing and your good to go. As mentioned the magnums (I had those too) do not need the extra room, just the Pro Mags.

sounds like with the Magnums I don't have to do any modding to the covers, thanks Z-rated
