well we took the timing cover off and inspected our timing marks...everything is exactly where it should be...12, 6, 3....needless to say, completely stumped on what the hell else could be throwing it out of time and retarding it so badly. this is getting to be ridiculous. at this point with winter quickly approaching, i'm thinking about just pulling the motor and building one, haha. good god help me! lol

pretty sure i figured it out...as you can see in the pic...12, 6, 3, right? but #6 should be at TDC, right? not number one?
also, should i put an additive into the oil for the new cam?
