it is possible, and has been done, BUT.... it will take hundreds of fabrication hours.
what are you trying to accomplish?
3rd gen stuff works pretty well, IMO.

Ha when I read the thread title I was thinking he wanted to put a square nose on a rounded vehicle or the opposite. Quite funny if you think of it that way, evokes a what is that person smoking thought.

Years ago someone did that on a 3rd gen Camaro it looked similar to the "1994 Callaway C8 Camaro". ill post a pic of it if i can find it.

I remember seeing pics of it one time. It was kind of awkward looking. Like a muscle car and Italian super car had deformed genius babies.
It was unique, but it was made in bad taste.

its difficult to put a rack system under a 3rd gen without spending about a grand. the 4th gen unit will work with fabrication, but you will not gain anything.
look into a racecraft fabricated spindle. you will need the version with shortened steering arms. a stock spindle WILL not work for a rack and pinion setup. even in a drag car, a school bus will be able to turn circles around you.
stock tie rod arms are 3" too long from center of ball joiint to center of tie rod bolt hole.

3rd gens handle better because they weigh less and have stiffer rear spring rates 4th gens front end are improved hence no wonderbar for us, rears are the same except for the spring rate.

what might be cool is incorporating 4th gen taillights into a 3rd gen body. Outside of that you're nuts junior, you're nuts!

I love how some of you are talking about swapping body panels. The OP clearly said suspension in the ONE SENTENCE you had to read to find out what he's asking.

I'd say it's probably a waste of time and just go with ugraded parts that are made for the 4th gen.
