How much Compression with....
How much Compression with.... How much compression (SCR) are you guys running with the forged speed pro and keith black pistons?
Id like to get as close to 12:1 as possible.
Im doing a budget 355 and Im gonna stay with either of these pistons, but it seems like everyone is running closer to 11:1.
This is my first engine where Ive had to do all the calculating and measuring, normally Im just the assembler.
I cant find any info on people decking the block or Combustion chamber measurements to figure out what Im gonna need.
Please tell me about the rest of the setup you guys are running (stuff that affects DCR)?
And before all you guys tell me just to go with a diff piston, if it comes down to it and I cant get 12 out of these two pistons, well Ill just have to go with them anyways, really at this point im not entertaining other piston choices due to budget constraints.

This may help you figure some stuff out. You can play around with the deck height, gasket thickness and piston volume and see what you need.
