Thanks alot. Its been a long time since it has been on the road. Im still waiting on the custom suspension to be delivered (all rod end and QA1's), the rear end tubes to be welded up, the rims to come in, pushrods to come in, and the dyno tune.

all over it. I have a ball milled one waiting to install. The only thing that sucks is that i will be installing a baffled grommet so reduce oil over spill. So i will have to remove the grommet to do the oil change. To me though that is a good compromise to keeping oil off of the covers.

also i tore into the rear end to do some maintenance and it had this inside:

There was no wear on these. The factory cover magnet had a very very thin layer of metal on them. also i have been the owner of this car since early 2006

ha ya. I just now started working on it within the last two months. Ordering parts, installing them, fab work, and everything. When i had the money i didnt have the time. Then i had plenty of time because of this economy but no money. But i have a few buddies with their LS1's and a few with cobra's that are calling me out so.....

Wow looking really good so far! What valve covers are those? they are very nice! I can't wait till I build a motor and eventually get to really clean things up in the engine bay.

Thank you. they are 4" IIRC sbc summit racing valve covers. Without the notch for the alternator. As you can see i relocated the alternator down to the original a/c compressor location. Im just ready to get all my suspension and my brand new greg welds to come in.
