Clutch problems
Clutch problems i posted this up on the transmission page too. i have a mcleod ST with the adjustable MC. just got done installing the 396 back into the car and was going to go take it out for a drive to seat the rings. well i had the car on jacks so i decided to see if everything was good to go. so i put the clutch to the floor and went to put it into 1st and it felt like it hit a wall. then i heard the rear tires start to spin. when the car is off i can put it in all gears just fine so its nothing in the linkage. got to figure out why i cant disengage the clutch.

Have you had to crack open the hydraulics at all since the last time you drove the car?
If you did you might have gotten air into the system which is preventing the slave cylinder from pushing the release fork enough to disengage the clutch. Try bleeding the clutch again and see if that makes a difference (take the cap off the reservoir, unbolt the slave cylinder and hold it upright, push the rod up into the slave cylinder slowly many many times, and have someone let you know when no more bubbles are coming up out of the reservoir).
If this doesn't correct you problem, you've got the adjustable master. Extend the pushrod a bit to get a little more throw in the slave cylinder.
