Default 388 dyno results...

First off, this setup is nowhere near optimized. Cam spec'd for a single plane and 250 shot. Also had a little miscommunication with Bret Bauer about where I should've installed my valvesprings, so the power fell off (valve float) at only 5600 rpm.

Specs:

388ci
12.5 scr
Ported AFR 210s, 320cfm at .600
Ported LT4 intake
Bauer HR Cam 24x/25x .620ish 107lsa
58mm TB
Pacesetter LTs w/ 3" Y
4" single with 2 vibrant bullets and 1 hooker maxflo
Stock 6sp, mcleod bell, spec stage V clutch
PST ds
Moser 9" w/ 4.11s

Numbers....

439rwhp at 5600 rpm
450rwtq 4400-4800 rpm

400 rwtq at only 2800 rpm

I don't have a graph sorry guys, gonna swap valvesprings tomorrow morning and hit the local 1/8 mile in the evening. Then redyno tune the beast in the next week or two with a 150 shot. Oh btw, the new MSD 6AL-2 Programmable box was worth 2 ft lbs and .4 hp over a stock setup.

LOL ah the newb talk, sorry man i've been here for a while just don't care to post much cause i can't stand some of the stuff that gets talked on here, and the reason i asked if it was on motor was because 1) he never said and 2) i've seen some prett bad under powered stroked LT's.. Sorry for the thread hi-jack but i guess i'm a "newb" lol

yep converting to single plane with a 4 hole tb, i think the stock intake/58mm TB sucks. plus this motor was built for a 300 shot, and you can't spray more than about 200 on the stock intake.

After the single plane conversion and valvespring swap what kind of power are you expecting to make on motor? 460ish rwhp?

I think with just a spring swap I'll be in the 460-470 range. single plane somewhere north of that. Trap times will tell the story tomorrow.
