Default Ready to get #s on the Dyno

Finally got all the bugs worked out. Now, I've found a place close to get dyno'd and possibly dynotuned. That shop is charging $108 an hour. My tuner is charging $300 for his time and $100 per hour. Saids he would need 1-2 to get my car dynotuned. Is the outcome going to be similar if he or the shop does it? Just don't want to spend money more money if iit's going to be the same outcome.

Im assuming your talking about Vince? I traveled down to WA from BC to get mine dyno tunned the shop charged $100 an hour for the dyno time and vince charged me $300 for the tune took him about an hour. It was deffinitally worth it since hes awesome with lt1's not to mention the 40rwhp and and 41rwtq I picked up from the tune.

Where abouts in WA are you located?

Looking like spring time. All the bugs are gone for sure now. Ordered up a yank ss3600 as well as an flt trans this upcomming monday. I know it will hamper the #'s, but it's about track time correct? I figured dynotune the thing with everything on it so there's no "gotta do it again"

Vince is the tuner I was referred to. He even came to my house to in car tune since he was out of tuners and wanted to get me taken care of before he went on vacation.

I wish you luck. When all is said and done, is a little street driving and final tuning included to make sure all is good? Maybe I'm reading what you said the wrong way.

Kind of confused here. I needed a retune for a few things I added on the motor after i had a mail order tune to just get it running. He didn't have a tuner available so he came down and updated the tune in person. I haven't gotten in dyno tuned yet though, if that was the confusion. Maybe I'm confused lol. It's late.

Whooo... Bringing this one back. Got the trans and verter in now. Got a hold of the tuner and we're going to schedule something today or next tuesday. I'm excited to see what it puts down. I know its been getting dragged, but I promise to get numbers up this week or the following week.

Right on is Vince still gonna tune it? I gotta get him to touch up my tune due to a new LE cam and some nitrous.

Well got it done and put down 342rwhp and 338rwtq iirc. That's with the largest emissions friendly cam that Lloyd had available. I'll get the graph posted whenn the speed shop emails it to me.
