drive shaft headache ???

drive shaft headache ??? ok now im confused and pissed off 
i went to a local wrecking yard
AMP PERFORMANCE its a performance shop/wrecking yard that sells fbody parts and mustang parts i thought i was getting a ls1 aluminum drive shaft when i bought it for $70 i was like damn what a good deal then they told me the yoke was bad so the had a new yoke installed and had it balanced so a total of $140 $70 bucks for the new yoke and balancing ok fine now yesterday i go to install the new drive shaft and when i put it in something doesnt look right it looks like its too short DAMN
today ive been calling around to see how much its going to cost to make it longer $200 WTF im not comfortable with that price that would make me $340 in the hole for a damn drive shaft where do i go from here do they make spacers for drive shafts ??

Just got your PM baylove...like I mentioned in my reply back to you, my Aluminum DS off a LS1 was the same length as my stock steel. I would be calling up whomever you bought that from. Good luck man.
