although technically i've had more than that but apparently only technical posts count so here's my 1995th post. nothing to see here but a 1995 T/A

long live the LT1! (and the optispark) just so this stays in the tech section i will say i should have a new magnaflow 12267 muffler installed by the end of the week. its on its way from California now. Too bad i ordered it from a place in michigan that apparently was out of stock there and had to send one from California.

most of it is. the hood has been replaced so thats new paint, the bumpers, gfx and the roof panel behind the t-tops have been resprayed. the doors/quarters/hatch/fenders are all factory paint AFAIK. actually the front bumper is new as well and the drivers side gfx piece is off a different car because when the original one was in the paint shop they broke it trying to remove it because they forgot to remove the 2 bolts holding it to the fender

My paint is still factory, and despite my best efforts it is starting to show its age. I would love to tear it completely down and start over. Just go nuts with bodywork, align gaps, respray etc.

Its the stone chips and stress cracks in the paint that break my heart.

yeah i'm getting some of that too on my fenders and doors. the bumper has had 2 bad run ins with stuff so it's new. first run in was unknown, a car wash ran it into something. the second run in was with a bale of hay. a year before the first run in i had the original bumper repainted. so i have had 3 freshly painted bumpers counting the original repaint and am on my 3rd bumper now.

here is a better pic in the light. it doesn't have the new center cap decals because those were added a few weeks ago after i was at the T/A nationals.

speaking of the T/A nationals, i took 2nd place in the 93-02 modified class. i had just over 126k then and am now over 127k

Yea, yours is nice... I guess I'll have to talk to the shop to see what can be done.

Looks slick. A black TA is the only LT1 I would consider.

I wish those were my only issues. I don't know how its possible, but I keep catching more and more little dings in my car. I'll look at it in different angles and wonder how another flaw is in my door or quarter panel. I guess my new motto is go faster, get uglier?

OP congrats, nice car.

i have had a few dings removed over the years (3 when i bought the car, one earlier in the summer) and there are scratches here and there like any 15 y/o car. i just found a new one on the gfx on the drivers side the other day. luckily i was able to make it pretty unnoticeable with meguiers scratch X.

LOL and here it is

everyone does something on their 2000th, 3000th etc. i decided to be different and do one that corresponded to my car's year

BTW i just checked Fed Ex's website and my muffler is out for delivery. i hope the roads dry off so i can go get it installed later after it arrives.
