Default LT1 McLeod scatter shield (SFI)

Does anyone know where I can purchase this item and at what cost ? I would like to get the latest version with the cover for the large opening.
Any info, let me know.....

i bought mine from billy at a super chevy show here in so cal, got a good discount from him as well.

Wicked, since you have one, how is the fitment on it? did you have to fab or trim anything, for the shield to fit, or just a bolt-on piece?

Do they have any left? Last I knew, they only made a certain amount of them..

yes it will fit over a street twin. nope no modifications, except you have to knock out a plate for the starter. its supposed to be punched out, but mine wasnt and i had to use a grinder and cutoff wheel to cut it out. i made a thread bout 5 months ago with some pics to give you an idea

You can buy it from Summit Racing for $441 and it has a new pn but I don't have it right in front of me. I'll be ordering mine very soon.

i think i got mine for 400 + tax from mcleod direct here in so cal. make sure its the lt1 bellhousing, not the modular 4.6 one on summit.

Unless you have shoehorned a Ford 302/351 windsor small block into your camaro, that won't work. The correct P/N is 8760-00.
