Alright, lets see. I pulled that rocker that was pictured. Really lucky there, all of the bearings are still inside, that metal retainer didn't slide out far enough. I took two more videos. In the first video the 2 3/4" I pipe is still inside the 3" ypipe, just chilling there, and the metal crossbrace is installed that is under there. In the second video we pulled both so the exhaust wouldn't have been rattling. Things are seem to be getting oil up top.
How loud could those 1.6 Scorpions be? Is there any chance in hell they could come misadjusted and be making that much racket? Anyone know what there policy is, if we contact them and let them know one of their rockers is coming apart, can I ship it to them and get a replacement at a decent price?
Well I guess watch the new videos, I don't think it sounds the same. Then again it was idling higher, I guess due to the CAI being off perhaps and no MAF?

It defenately sounds different than the first video. Another thing noticed that the sound its coming from the rear and it sounds stroger on the passenger side. So
1. Its your not getting enough oil by your lifters.
2. That sounds like there is something loose back there and its hitting the crank as it turns.
So what can get loose back there and be hitting the crank? OIl Pick up will not PICK UP enough oil to lubricate the engine. There is a high posibility that it is your pick up and its is know to fall off. This might explain the lack of oil on coming up to your heads.
Your best bet would be to take out the oil pan and check your bottom end. You will only waste time since the oil pan gasket is reusable. Thas just my 2 cents and good luck

Sorry for your misfortune Vulcan, but at least there is some amusing material in this thread.
Before I read your quote I right clicked and saved the picture. The file name I chose is 1slo camaro redneck engineering.
I about died when I heard that. Someone should make a gif of the part where it rolls over him. The dummy that got run over went completely flat.

Hopefully when Corey get's back I can get it pulled. Hell, If I can get the motor mounts unbolted I could just pull it my self. Hoping it's the Oil Pickup. If not, Then I need a job so i can start fixing my car.

So I assume the engine is pulled and on the stand now? Also is that dexcool in the oil pan? I didnt know if it was lighting but it sure looks like dexcool in there. Those are new head gaskets too, huh. Maybe that block is warped to from the over heating. Dont look good tho either way.

Well the head gaskets are due to two owners previously. The guy has a shop in Tampa, he put ported Fbody heads onto his Impala block. Doesn't look like coolant is in the oil, but the oil, well it definitely has metal in it, its got this metallic shine, guess the camera didn't pick it up well.
I'm wondering, is the crank moving forward and back? Second picture, looks like the crank is rubbing on the block?? I've never been in the bottom half of a motor, so I'm not sure what I am looking for that is wrong.
Yeah we had all those metallic shavings stuck to the magnetic drain plug, plus now I know why the low oil light was on even though there was 5 quarts in the motor, the low oil sensor end is completely gone and mangled.

That could have been from you, if you did not disconnect the sensor before removing the pan then YOU broke it. Or it could have been broke all the time like you said.
