Default LT1 vette valve covers

Do these need to be gutted to clear roller rockers, or will they fit over them ok? I gutted my stamped f-body valve covers cause I was told they wouldnt clear them.

Are they the LT4 composite valve covers? If so, no they don't need to be. They should be good to go as is.

If they are the LT1 composite 'vette covers, they will need to be clearanced if using wide body rockers (like Pro Mags). If they are the LT4 composite, they won't. Note that they both look the same on the outside.

Can you post a photo of the webbing?

I recently installed Scorpion full-bodied RRs under stock LT1 valve coves with no clearance issue at all. The covers are 96 LT1s.

Depends on the webbing yours have.
