Default Head mods

Anyone knows which company it is that converts traditional sbc heads over to the lt1 setup. I have a pair of AFR 215's that a buddy of mine was running on a 383sbc that I would like to run on my 396LT1. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance fellas.

I'm sure any decent cylinder head/machine shop could convert them to reversed cooling

I appreciate your attempt at being helpful, but LT1 heads don't have traditional cooling, they have whats called reverse flow cooling which means the coolant flows thru the heads first, and then to the block. Which is why I'm searching for a company or person who can perform the necessary mods on my traditional sbc AFR heads so that they will bolt up and function as an LT1 head.

I just read an article in GM High Tech mag where Speed Inc converted Brodix heads for a 95 TA. I think they just need the coolant passages drilled and tapped for the coolant pipes. Never looked into it but I doubt its a hard job.

Brodix will actually do the conversion on any of their heads for $400.
