Default 11.88 today

Went looking for some of that great air that's been around lately, but it wound up still being a little above sea level. Oh well. Car might have had a chance at some 11.7xs but the hic-up right before it shifts is still there. Anyways, it's a slightly better new best. Won't bore you with the problem, but I sure wish I could figure this out.

Is there an echo in here? LOL MPH stayed the same, about 114.6. The 60ft. was 1.59 and that's a new best. So the run can pretty much be summed up with that. It's a little disappointing that the car is barely breaking up about 62-6400 rpm. If that gets figured out I'll be a happy camper.
PS The opti only has 600 miles on it.

I don't know Stealth, my stuffs pretty used up. It's getting ready to turn over 32k the next trip out. Seriously though, the car could use some more converter. Just another thing on the wish list for now.

True, I bet you would get a few more ponies if you had Lloyd touch your heads up, IIRC you had them done a few years back?

A stall change to an SS4000 or PT4000 would wake it up a little more on motor. I liked my old SS3600 alot but my PT4000 is alot nicer at the strip. Only downside is I can't spray the car with that converter which kinda sucks.

Do you happen to have plans to go to the shootout this year? Would be alot of fun with a bunch of LE2 cars which it seems there may just be.

"A stall change to an SS4000 or PT4000 would wake it up a little more on motor."

Interesting as I'm currently running a SS3600 and Yank recommended the PT4000 for my new build. I'm not going to spray. So I will have the SS3600 converted to a PT-4000. It will also improve the performance of my current motor.

Yeah Stealth your correct. The heads are about 5 yrs. old. No stages back then. Tough choice about the converter for me too. I'm maxed out on the bottle, but have some revs left when running NA. The last month or so I'm leaning more of improving my NA times than trying to put the car in the mid 10's. I like the fact that there are more and more 11 second LE cars.
Don't know yet about the shootout, I was going when it looked like it might be closer, but I can't swing it if it's a 6-8 hr drive. I'd have to tow it and that would be big money for me. We'll see what happens though. Rick

Find a buddy with a truck and convince him how much fun it will be to tow you down! Thats what I did, and it was a great time, they all had a blast and want to go again!!

A couple of years back almost to the day it went 92.12 in the 1/8 with the privous best of 11.93 @ 114mph. Like I mentioned though, it has a hic-up now, right before the shift points.

I had them restall my SS3600 as well. It feels looser on the street but when your going WOT you will really like the PT4000. The car keeps the revs up alot better between the shifts and moves out like a bat outta hell. Seems like Yank has you going in the perfect direction with your new combo.

Yeah I hear ya. I have to trailer the car (I'm guessing 15 hour drive for me ) so I really need to start saving some extra cash right now. Luckily I have my old man coming with so he will split gas and hotel

Wow even your 1/8 was identical to mine...I did 7.571 at 90.88 mph. I'm jealous of your 60', do you have drag shocks by chance? Can't seem to get my car to 60' any better without doing some shocks/springs.

AC, I had a guy with a Dodge Hemi pick-up that was interested, but my plant shut the doors and we don't talk much now. Would have been cool to have that thing tow my turd to the shootout. I do have my wifes Envoy but that would put the towing capacity at it's limit.
