Forged nitrous specific piston + rings + proper ring gap, flat top.

No reason to get a dished piston unless you are running boost.

If you get a domed piston be ready to run something higher than 93.

Flat top is a good median of pump gas, but not sacrificing compression for no reason.

if you're considering a 300 shot.... that cam is gonna have to be pretty big duration wise. i cant see your sig, and dont know your goals for the car. depends on your combustion chamber cc's. im running about 12.5 static with 65cc chambers and had to run a domed piston. but the overlap of my cam allowed for that on 91 octane. im running custom JEs by the way, if i ever swap to a single plane intake this motors getting whacked with 300 as well

A custom piston won't do you any good if you don't have the rods, crank, and hardware to match them.

what's the rest of your build look like? a 300 shot is no joke... need big heads, a big cam, single plane, progressive controller at a minimum, standalone fuel system, race gas, AMERICAN non twist forged crank, AMERICAN 4340 h beams, splayed mains, head studs, etc. not to mention the 10 pt cage you'll need and all the drivetrain ****...

Get yourself a set of ROSS or CP's made, set up for heavy nitrous, and never look back. Of course you have to do everthing else too. If we can help let us know, I'd be glad to point you in the right direction.

A standalone for a 300? Why not two intank pumps? Also, what is the max flow of a stock fully ported intake as far as nitrous is concerned.

200 max and you have to watch the plugs real good even at that level. i'd run a low pressure standalone because its easier to tune, and you can run different fuels that way.
