Opti. trouble as usual...

Opti. trouble as usual... Hey guys I have a 95 6 Speed Z/28 Vert. that I've recently replaced the opti. in and I'm having the SAME damn problem again I THINK. It has a dead mis-fire at idle and cruises fine UNLESS in 5th or 6th, OR when you tip in the throttle it starts dying out?? TPS reads and sweeps fine, plugs dont have 10k on them as well as the high dollar Accel LT1 wire kit. I'm a Chrysler diesel tech so tools and shop time isn't an issue can someone direct me to the original diag. for distributor failure from GM? ALSO: the day this started happening I SOMEHOW dropped a collector stud off my headers if that has any relative relation.

NOTE: Camaro will probably be for sale soon. Silver, BRAND NEW top (both pieces including new glass), 6 speed, leather, SHARP car. Just rolled to 100k
The car was bought from a middle aged gentleman in Ardmore, AL and now resides in my driveway until I get her back on the road. Meticulously maintained and cared for. Car was a college grad. present from my Grandfather but needs to go to fund my 67 Camaro that was my Dad's and he recently passed so I kind of have a fire under my *** to build a 67 resto-mod.
