optispark eliminator???
are the northstar coils better than optispark? I know opti goes out often but im not sure about the performance of the northstar setup and consistency as I am a new F-Body owner

If you are referring to the Delteq setup, it still uses the optical portion of the opti. There is nothing inherently wrong with the northstar coil setup. However, you should be aware that Delteq is essentially dead with no tech support.
There is a similar option out there called the LTCC that uses LS1 type coils. It still has support. http://www.geocities.com/reilym/LTCC/
Or you could go with a complete elimination of the opti with the eficonnection's LS1 PCM product. Look on this forum for a long thread about it.
