I ordered the 648-16 7* valve locks from Comp Cams to use with my beehives, but during a mis-hap with the over the head spring compressing tool, one lock broke in half and another gouged.
I did not order another set yet because I was told the stock valve locks are also 7*. However, upon comparing them visually, the lock is in a different position on the OEM and the CCs. If I even remember correctly, the CCs sit flush with the spring retainer while the OEMs stick out a little bit.
I am going to be running pro magnum self aligning rockers, and want to know if the buying OEM locks and using them will effect the rocker tabs from sitting correctly on the tip of the valve stem.

I'm not sure to be honest, have not measured it. Neither do I have a spring micrometer or have I bothered getting one. I could use a vernier caliper and tell you what the installed hight is.
I just got the heads surfaced and a 3 angle valve job as well, so its most likely different than stock.
