Default I changed out the opti in 2 hours

I received my brand new opti from thepartsladi at 3:30PM, drove the LT1 to my shop, and finished the install at 5:30PM. It was a breeze.

Who can install an opti faster than me?

Srsly. If I was in a rush, 30 minutes is doable with the right tools and know-how (bolt sizes, puller, etc.). It's been off I don't know how many times. No AIR pump, no A/C, and an electric pump make life a bit easier too.

So I was thinking. Whenever you come visit the pacific nw for some odd reason you should swing by and help a fellow lt1 guy

Making me wonder how long it'd take me now lol

2 hrs is a good time but as many as I've changed in the past couple of years it would take me well under a hour start to finish to do the job.

47 min on a stock 93 firehawk, was the time for last one I did from the time I opened the hood until it was closed. I bet I've installed more opti's than anyone on this site.

Not bad at all but certainly nothing to brag about. I could do that **** in my sleep faster (unfortunately).

This was my first opti change. I could see a 30 minute change out with some fast tools.

And yes my car runs perfect now.
