Default victor efi manifold ! info needed.

i have the victor efi, and im wondering if i can run a carb on it for the engine dyno? is it internally different then a regular victor, specially made just for air?
if possible what do i use to plug the injector holes.

thanks.

plug the holes with your fuel injectors ...see no reason why you couldn't run a carb on that intake, but I would contact Edelbrock tech and get their opinion

spoke with edelbrock tech support, was told there is no issue with running a carb on that intake.

There is no issue but I have to ask why did you do that??? Just for the dyno you want to run a carb????? and then what? Put injectors on it????

uhhhh okay... yeah there won't be a problem running that intake with a carb but you do notice that it's scrunched down a bit in the runners compared to a normal Victor Jr and that is because it's designed to flow just air. Fuel takes up a good bit of volume in the runner so the runners have to be a bit bigger. and the bends smoother.... that intake is scrunched down cause it only flows air so they can sacrifice some intake runner size.

but i don't see why it wouldn't work however.... just don't know why you would buy that intake with injector holes and then try and run a carb....

I don't know if anyone here is interested in what a CNC ported version of this intake looks like, but I should have my intake back from HVH (High Velocity Heads) pretty soon. This way the intake flows as evenly between cylinders as possible and matches what my AFR 227 Comp Eliminators flow.
