lt1 exhaust manifold I am installing a 93 Corvette LT1 in a 56 chevy. I am using the stock Corvette exhaust manifolds because of clearance problems. I need to block off the hole that is located on the very top of the Corvette exhaust manifold. Anyone know of a source for this plug or what size thread is needed to plug this hole? It is a larger size than the Camaro takes as I have a set of those exhaust manifolds also.

Why dont you just get some small block hugger headers
the LT1 is still considered a smallblock so they should just bolt up perfect

Why dont you just get some small block hugger headers

OP, keep in mind this is not a common plug found at your local hardware store - it is automotive-specific.

Home depots Here in chicago do have those plugs, they are m18 by 1.5 and/or m22 by 1.5
Home depot can probably order them for you, you can measure them out and try to put a 18mm wrenc over it and if it fits then you know its a 18 or a 22mm...then order the one you need.
