Not a bad piece for your application, nor is it optimal. Its fairly conservative IMO.

actually I was looking for the advertised duration numbers, that's @ .050"

def call up lloyd elliott @ www.elliottsportworks.com, pretty much any "custom" by comp is just an salesmen pointing at a page in a catalog that offers pretty generic grinds. hardly ever will you talk to anyone at comp that isn't just reading off a list with any real knowledge

There are hydraulic grinds that are more agressive than that. I agree that the guy from Comp was a moron. Talk to Lloyd or any reputable cam grinder to get hooked up.

Much too small to make the most of your 383.
Keep in mind that with S/R, the valve "see's" about 10* less than it would with a similarly speced H/R
so what you have there is only slightly bigger than a hotcam.

Talk to Lloyd, let him know how you intend to use the car and what you want it to feel like, he'll take care of you.
I really don't see a point in running an S/R cam if it's going to be that mild.

SpeedInc. does a lot of boosted cars. Maybe give them a call to see what they say. I could be wrong, but with boost in the equation I don't think the cam has to be real aggressive.

I think something around 242 @.050 on intake and 250 @.050 on the exh on 114 LSA would definitly put somemore steam in upstairs. Its gonna make decent torque down low with the supercharger, so its not going to lose alot of lowend torque from the bigger lobes.

I have a custom grind solid roller from comp, actually, here is the part number and the specs...

Intake 244 @ .050 duration, .615 lift
Exhaust 250 @ .050 duration, .630 lift
Lobe separation is 112
