LTX block is cancelled
so now im back to finding a way to squeeze all the power i can out of the ol' ltx block. i cant believe we come this close to almost recieving what alot of people in this section have been dreaming for (more cubes) but oh well. so i guess go make another lsx block since they already have like a shitload of blocks already. with the ltx we only have one choice on which block to use. so its no wonder why the lsx have alot of 9 and 8 second cars is the choice that they dont have to use their factory blocks
guess im just mad that i cant have me a 427 ltx now
I think the money can now go towards getting a bike.

I wouldnt buy anything from Dart because I like companies who actually invest into the ltx community.
Not companies who promise to do so to get exposure for their company and then back out when it comes time to produce.
Look at Trickflow, they didnt come make a big deal about their new heads. They simply designed a product that will move the ltx platform forward (hopefully), and brought it to market.
Maybe they will see an oportunity here and come through where Dart couldnt.
But yes, Dart will be my LAST choice for anything going forward.
chevy vs chevy i love the competition haha. LS1 KILLER

It's not much of an investment when you are losing money. I think it was a smart decision for them to go ahead and make sure the costs of tooling would be worth it. I like the LT1 but I also like the idea of performance oriented companies staying in business.
As for Trick Flow, it is a lot easier to sell cylinder heads than blocks. Like Tony said, the stock block has gone under 8.10 in the quarter mile already. How bad do you really need that Dart block?
