Default Going to the track for the final time of the year...

well im hitting up new england dragway in epping NH with a few others on this board for the final time this year tomorrow night (fri 10/30) Weather should be perfect for racing, just got to hope the track prep is there. im hoping for some 12.3x passes bolt on only. anyone want to guess my exact numbers?

1995 z28
3250lbs raceweight
Moroso CAI
air foil
Pacesetter longtubes
3" true duals x-pipe dumped
CPT Pro Race 4L60e
SS3600
Bone Stock suspension
!swaybar
Stock 10 bolt w/3.23's
madz28 mail order tune
ET Street Radials 275/50/15's

shes pretty much just a bolt on only car. I ran a 12.42 @ 107mph this summer on a decent fri night. what do you think ima run tomorrow night in the cool NH October air?

Faster than me lol. But your car weighs quite a bit less and you have the ss3600. Good luck beating your personal best, that's what it's all about

Basically the air will determine how much faster you go so I want to say a couple tenths. Unless youve changed something but IIRC your combination is the same?

Thats all good. Are you firmly against nitrous? Thats probably where id go at this point. Nice fork in the road. Cam or nitrous.

bad news. i rushed home from college (2 hour trip) got home just in time went to pull the car out of the garage and found it had a bad tranny leak. looks like its coming from the line going into the aftermarket cooler i installed. couldnt get a real good look at it. will have to take off the nose to see better. looks like im done for the year. hey 12.42 aint too shabby. i'll come out next year faster then ever!

the considerable ones are gears, rockers, and suspension, and some more weight reduction. im confident with time and money i can get her into the 11.9x range bolt on only.

I guess that's how it always goes. If the car is running it rains! If it is nice out something breaks!

Isn't that the truth!

You have alot of potential in that car I definetly think 11's are in it's bolt-on future no doubt.

I had the same issue once, stuff happens. If it makes you feel better one of the travel channel shows had some thing on Portugeese (sp) food in Mass.
