Question ls1 strokers ?

whats the reason you will always see lt1s stroked and very rarely see ls1s stroked ? is it because the ls1s dont need to be stroked to get real power out of them ?

because most guys that spend money and want more cubes in a gen3+ motor just get an iron LQ9/4 which is stronger and allows more displacement. also the blocks are cheaper too I believe

Not 100% but if i remember corectly the ls1 is a sleeved block while the lt1 i believe is called a dry sleeve or something. Anyways when a block is sleeved it doesn't wear out like an older block where you would have to bore it over to fix any imperfections. A wet sleeve block has what you call sleeves in the blocks which you just take out and replace after so many miles rather boring the block over some. Hence you can't bore the ls1 as easily over as an older non sleeved block
