I have an autometer pro shift light hooked to a Mallory 685 ignition. The shift light is set to come on at 6600. I have my rev limiter set at 6800. During the 1-2 shift I hit the rev limiter before the light comes on. The 2-3 shift the light comes on seems to happen at the same time the rev limiter hits. The 3-4 shift seems to work correctly. What do you think?

I think you have the Rev Limiter set too close to the point you want to shift at. I shift at 6500 and have the Limiter set at 7k.

I think that the Light you have has a slight delay aswell..that's what it sounds like to me.
