How to drain gas tank Hey guys, quick question, how do you bypass the fuel pump relay so that it will stay on all the time? I need to drain my gas tank when I get home because I think my gas has gone bad. I know where it is located, just which pins to jump or w/e.

Look on the passenger side of the engine compartment in the back corner just front of the PCM. In the bundle of wires for the cooling fans, you'll find a fuel pump prime connector (one loose wire with a connector, will be red for 96+, orange for 93-95). Jumping 12V to this lead will kick-start the pump. Disconnect the line off of the fuel filter and empty. Voila.

Alright cool, I thought that would only turn the pump on to "prime" it, the usual 2-3 sec. as it is the fuel pump prime wire lol. I was going to try it anyways, glad to know it works :-)
