Question How did you fix it ?

The bulb in my shifter is out and the dealership said you have to buy the whole piece to get the light, Thats ok i say now where do i go ? Radio Shack ? Thanks for any help here

I bought one from auto zone and it wasnt even close, gm said since it is an LED light it was supposed to last forever. You cant even disconnect it you have to cut it off

Just to clarify you are talking about the one that lights up the "P R N D etc..." right? If you are I'm pretty sure it's the same bulb that is used in the door panels, to illuminate the switches. It was a little tough to get out when I replaced it. It ended up busting and I had to pull it out with some pliers.

Fyi, I went out in the rain and pulled the cover and checked just now. Things look exactly as I explained.

Yes a real tiny LED bulb, i pulled and pulled. I guess ill just crush it if i have to

Autozone book said 194ll but that was way to big, ill go by advanced tonight and look at those and thanks
