a/c delete,P/s delete weight reduction help much?

My cousin has a 1995 WS9 firebird. He just got done replacing the bearings and oil pump and cleaned out his oil pan. Also replaced the transmission with a built one and a 2800 stall. He decided sense his power steering pump and A/C compressor were shot, he just would ditch em.. its his daily driver but he has plans to make it a street/track car. no a/c or p/s doesn't bother him.. He is going to purchase the alternator bracket from pcm4less. My question is, will he gain a noticeable amount of power from removing the parasitic drag coming from the compressor and p/s pump?

Things he has removed:

obviously, the a/c compressor, condenser, dryer and hvac box etc
power steering pump
front sway bar
moved the battery to the rear spare compartment
passenger seat
rear bench seat
rear seat belts
spare tire and jack

That's all I can think of right now.

the car will gain more from the weight reduction rather than the hp gained from ditching the accessories

He will not gain any horsepower from those that he deleted. If he does a elec. water pump he will gain power. But weight reduction will make the car faster.

100lb is a tenth in the quarter. he will miss the ac tho.

wont gain any? he'll gain about 5hp

Will his motor rev a little quicker? I always thought if you remove you compressor/power steering pump, you would gain a hint of power..

naw hes just gonna gain some bigger forearms and biceps from the lack of power steering. ive got the ls1speed alternator bracket from where i deleted my a/c nad pwr steering. its a bitch in a parking lot to turn the wheel with skinnies. but the weight loss of all that crap does help out a lot. 2975lb lt1 car!
