a/c delete pulley?? a/c has not worked for 5 years. now its time to come out. what is neccesary for ac delete?? shorter belt? a/c delete pulley??help is needed. dont want to go in there blindly. pics anyone?
You need a shorter belt too.

use a shorter belt if using gm delete pulley. too much slack/not enough tension otherwise IMO

I agree with Sweetbmrider. Use the shorter belt.

on my setup, gm pulley with stock sized new belt, the tensioner was almost bottomed out. i was not comfortable with this so i stepped down a size. do whatever you want but a slipping belt is no fun.
Look up this part, I paid no more than $30:
DORMAN Part # 34209
All you need is the pulley. It goes where the A/C compressor used to be. You use the bolts that came off the compressor to install the pulley. No shorter belt or anything else is required... I don't know what you guys did.
