Default Piston-cylinder clearance, and ring gap for spray

How much clearance is reccomended for spray in the cylinders? also the ring end gap clearance? Im running a Probe piston. any suggestions?

Talk to Probe and maybe also the ring manufacturer. Some pistons require different ring gaps than others also. I wouldn't ask a bunch of guys on the interweb

The piston material will have a lot to do with it as will the amount of "spray" you're going to use? On my new engine my builder recommended Hellfire top ring gapped at .030-.035 and a Total Seal 2nd ring gapped at .030-.038 for my Mahle forged ft pistons.
