Lots of people have been having luck with the eBay stainless knock-offs. I was one of the fortunate individuals to score a set of the first batch of LPPs.

no set of headers is worth the money that kooks charges, imo

Why? More often than not, they'll be the last set of headers you ever buy.

I'm no expert, but i've messed with headers on my old 95 enough to put in my two cents...

If this is some daily driver car that will see some weather, you might go ahead and make the move to stainless. BUT i'd stay on the cheaper side of the price field. If the Pacesetters are startin to rust you have time to wait on LPP's or dish out the change for some Kooks.

IMO Kooks are good **** but you can buy 2 maybe 3 sets of coated pacesetters for the price of 1 set of Kooks.

pacesetter coated no AIR 350+ change...

Kooks non stepped no AIR 840+ change...

Any thought to having Jet Hot clean your headers up and coat'em?

I guess it depends on how deep your pockets are?
