I hope so, i was trying so hard yesterday, the air was better than anything the car has seen since Houston but i couldn't get it to get out of the hole without bogging. I kept changing the suspension, tire psi, and launch rpm but the track was cooling off and it started getting slick right after the 10.07 pass. Maybe come January or Febuary when the slipper clutch is in it will 60-330 better.

Its crazy that this is the same car i had when it was a bolt-on record car back in 05, now its a N/A record car. Also crazy to think that this is the same setup since LTX-II, when it made one pass in practice 11.07 at 128, then sat in the pits next to Taner the rest of the day. I figured the faster you go the harder its going to be to get a tenth here and a tenth there, but with in a few months time it goes from a 11.0 car to a 10.0 car, i couldn't ask for more.. I have owned it for 6 years but i think its been on jack stands for at least 3, trying to go faster, lol..

Tell me a bit about your trans. I seriously need to start beefing mine up.
Call Liberty Gears, tell them you want the "Taner / Brady special" Faceplated, Viper output shaft, 300M Imput shaft

Thanks man, i'm going to keep it N/A for a bit to see what it will do with the slipper clutch and finish learning how to tune and dial in the suspension. Then i'm going to drop it off at Nitro Daves for a direct port single plate setup, and hose the **** out of it. I saw a pic over on the Nitrous Outlet show and tell thread , that was amazing! Its the LS1 carb manifold with EFI and a direct port, i like it..
Thanks again guys for all the props, its been a long 6 years but the best 6 years any racer could ask for.
Thanks! Ill give them a call. Hows the face plated trans on the street? Any Idea on the cost of a trans like yours? lol! At LTX2 I kept staring at yours and Taners car just thinking to myself.......some day Mike.....someday.....lol
Congrats Brady. Way to raise the bar. The car looks as good as it runs. I was looking at some pictures of your engine bay from the bottom the other day and it makes me want to pull my engine and redo everything down below.
Way to go Brady! I got the news pretty quick Saturday night. Think she's got a 9 in her N/A?
I hope so , get some better air and i think a 9.99 is possible. I just bought a slipper clutch so that should help out on the 60ft issue. So i'm looking for 9.70 range come February when the air is better.

I ran last week in 1500ft DA, this weekend it was 900ft. I had to add a fuel pump and turn up the fuel psi for E-85. It was maxing out the 60lb injectors last weekend. This weekend i dialed in the tune for the new fuel pressure.
What gears and size slicks do you have? It looks like you are about out as you go through the traps. if you are going to the 9's, do you think the clutch will make your first gear longer to make the top better? I guess the best way to word that is will your clutch make you faster at the same MPH?
what psi did you end up at? I'm shocked that it maxed out the 60s
i was at 45psi last week and on a single pump that couldn't keep up, thats why it was maxing the injectors at 92%, now at 60psi and twin pumps its only at 69%
Are you Tim , Taner was telling me about a guy down south in LA that has a fast 355 , super light car that went 10.30 and should go 10.00 soon?

Yea, I'm Tim. I'm hoping to dip into the 9s also when I get back to the track. The was wasn't super lite on the 10.3 run but it is now. I was about 3350 at that time. I like seeing other guys still rowing the gears and it has me wanting to get back to the track. I run 55 lb on 42lb injectors. I was running an intank 255 but now run an eliminator pump so I know I can drive the injectors better now. I've been thinking of going e85 but put it off because its hard to find here but your results have me wanting to make the switch again. I've always run on pump as I'm right at 12.5 cr but my cam lets me get away with it. I think I could get some nice gains with e85 based on one time when we put some "special" fuel in my car and with no tuning change picked up 28rwhp. That fuel is like e85 in that they recommend you add about 30% more fuel. We did it just to test on the dyno and really didn't want to tune for it. Anyway, I may be asking a lot of e85 questions to you since you've been this route. Any tuning tips?
