lol I have gone through 3 10 bolts. On my 4th now. Each one the posi unit grenaded. I mean there were not any big enough pieces to determine whats the gears or the posi unit. Good job.

Your on your 4th? It was time to get a 9" about 3 10 bolts ago.

lol yea. The sad part is i had one rebuilt with axles, eaton posi, slp 3.73's. And the posi grenaded, wiped out my gears and eaton wouldnt warranty there $600 unit. End of winter I'm getting a 9". Tired of swapping rears in front of my house. I have it down to dropping the blown one and installing the new one driving in around 4-5 hrs with no lift. Jackstands and a jack FTW lol

I have a lift but I prefer to do rearends on the ground.

Thats awesome, jack and jackstands here too. dont think I could do it that fast though. Go with a spool or the wavetrac.

Stock gears?

How do the marks on the carrier get there? My TOrsen diff had the same marks when I killed it.

stock gears but im not sure i think one of the little gears came out and rubbed it but i was still able to drive it about 1/2 a mile to my house.

^Your lucky the rear didnt completely lock up with all those pieces. THat would have been bad.

If I recall right you mentioned in another thread, a couple days ago how you thought you were going to blow your 10 bolt soon. You deff called that one.

lol thats my problem. drag radials +10 bolt= BOOM!!! I'm running 275/40/17 nitto drag radials. Lauched it at 16psi and went pop on the street.

I have 2 more stock 10 bolts then after those she will get a 9in...

and I was was on 275/40/17 nitto DRs too but at 30 psi
