I have a B-body LT1 A4 that I could get really cheap, it was running but some butthole stole the coil and I think the ICM ![Bang Head](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_banghead.gif)
The motor is currently sitting in a 1972 Cutlass (it will be going into my 72 Cutlass S, so all the headaches of the swap have already been done
), as far as I can tell the only mods are a spectre intake and a plug in the elbow from where the big baffle that looks like home base goes. My question is can anyone link me to specs of the B-body LT1s and a comparison to the F/Y-body LT1's?
I figured for my first few mods would be to clean everything, check for leaks, give it a good tune up, throw on so LTs and a good exhaust and go from there.
I tried the search but couldn't find what I was looking for.
Thanks,
Michael

There's a sticky entitled: "The Ultimate LT1-Newbie FAQ" near the top of the list of the threads in this forum. Lot of good stuff there.

@RamAir95TA
Thanks for the link that was a very good read. From what I could take from it, the iron LT1 heads flow better than the aluminum?
@Z48LT-1
I've been reading up on that trying to get the best idea on what parts to save up for and which ones to run from. Thanks man.
Thank yall
