Default Bleed Coolant After Cap Install?

quick question. if my cooling system has already been bled and i just want to replace the radiator cap for a new one, do i have to go though the whole process of bleeding the cooling system again?? i hate bleeding the lt1 cooling system. or can i just wait til the car is cool, remove old radiator cap and replace with new radiator cap? thanks!

Swap and be happy

You only have to bleed the air out when you drain either the radiator, engine or both

Ya just switch it out.. if you had to bleed the system after everytime you removed the cap it would suck ***..lol
