I really like the look of my Eibach Pro-Kit. I believe it lowered it just over an inch. Has a good stance and not too low if you want to run a TrueDuel set up. The Strano springs are another awesome choice which lower it a bit more. Go with some good quality shocks to top it off.
I'm running Strano spirngs with Koni 4/4 shocks, couldn't be happier with the setup. Mine dropped about 1.2 inches from stock. IMO if your car is a daily driver you don't want to go much lower than 1.5 inches from stock or you will be on the bump stops a lot, depending on how nice the roads are than you drive on. Also keep in mind that there are a lot of different springs on the market with different spring rates and ride height. Matching the springs to the shocks is also very important to ride quality and handling of the setup. If you do a search in the suspension sectoin you will find hunderds of post to help you as well.
Here is a pic of my ride height, keep in mind my rear is about 3/4 of an inch higher than normal due to the Moser 9inch rear.

I opted for the Sportline. It sits just a hair lower. With KYB gas-adjust-shocks, doesn't rub a bit even with 285-40-17's on the rear. You just have to watch the nose and the cat if you go over speedbumps or park off-pavement.
It's handles ALOT better. Almost as noticable as going from 16in to 17in rims....
