2. I bought some NGK tr55IX for my 97 ta, i believe they come gap at 55 is that about right?. The car has bolt ons and cc503 and a pcmforless mail order tune abouto go in. ...
3. First time filling up a auto transmission. I was told at Oreillys that tranny takes 10.8 quarts when all empty. I was told to pour one in stall before installing it then then about 8 more when its all installed. Then go through gears so it can settle in and add as needed to get to the mark. Is this ok or whats the proceddure.
Ill be back in an hour gotta bolt on my transmission and stall gettin ready to roll the cradle back in. Anybody that has used or done them before pitch in thanks

3rd question: yup about right. depending on the size of the torque converter and pan the number of quarts can vary. if its stock then yes around 10-12 qts is about right for an empty trans. around 5 for the pan, 2-3 for the converter then a few more for the guts of it. i would probably put in 8qts and check it, then pour in the necessary amount to top it off. (remember engine idling, trans warm, car on a level surface)
