all the stuff youre asking is pretty much common sense man, just use your noggin. if you had a freshly painted hood that is not dry sitting in your garage.....would you crank up the leaf blower and blow the garage out? no lol bc dirt would stick to it and ruin in. if dirt/sand gets stuck to anything inside a motor (stuck bc there is oil in it that will attract it) it will have a much shoter life.
