yeah mine will be a strip car with occasional street time as well, i would like to run a filter but i dont want to cut the cowl. think i would be better off and get close to the same result with an elbow to an LSX/ford style TB?

if you don't want to cut the cowl of course it gives you less options...

you'll be fine with the elbow.... tony shepherd runs an elbow and it's been fine...

can't wait to see what he is going to do with his supervic. i don't think he'll have the hood clearance for a supervic and an elbow...

I am going with a 4-barrel 2000 cfm T-body. No elbow.

Why not two smaller throttle bodies?

My intake has a 4500 flange. Gonna throw a big flowing T-body on there and rev it to the moon.

So how much do you think you'll gain going with the 4barrel and would stock ported heads and a 238/245 cam see big gain with it?

Probably nothing over a stock TB and intake, but it would look cool!

If he is putting it on the combination in his signature I am dead serious.

383 with LE2 heads, 238/245 cam (unless i go solid roller) and a single plane plate kit for a 200 shot (for even nitrous distribution)

the set up in my sig is my old setup

I don't see stock ported heads and a 23x cam gaining anything from a single plane and a 4 barrel TB unless you are turbo'd.
