thanks! there are some good ones there! I like it tame when off the throttle but loud as hell at wot. im hoping im gunna be close to that.

Do you guys think I'll feel any gains from stock catback to bumped ory with a single spiral flow? I already have longtbes and 3" ory of course.

If you had heads and cam you would def notice a difference..with your current set up, gains and noticing a power change will be minimal to none.

Yeah, thats pretty much what i thought. I still cant wait to get the stock garbage off the car, its looks and sounds really bad, i love the nascar sound. I'm also doing a cc503 cam in the spring, along with 3.73's, so thats gotta sound cool lol.

MY car is not very tame sounding ever. Just be prepaired to have a really loud car.
IMO your car with the current mods might feel slower in the low end but should pick up decently on the top end.

i had a dumped ory with single spiral flow for a while. it sounded good cruising and was very loud at WOT. the only problem i had was it kept banging against the floor boards. it was definitely a better sound than the same setup with a LM1. if you look up josh's race on youtube you can get an idea of the sound. its the red trans am.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrpU34Irzb0

If I were you I would just keep what you have now and put an electric cutout in the system. I like my TD's but it sucks going WOT in town! Every Cop within a mile radius will be lloking for you lol

Lots of truth in this post. Its ******* loud, really loud especially at night. At night my neighbors call the cops on me, if I just let it idle in the driveway for to long.

mine isnt an lt1 but i have a 98 with a 5.3 in it and lts with td and its a 2.5 setup with flow pro spiral flows quit at idle but loud as hell at wot

IMO go with a mufflex system. Either the 3.5" or the 4" will flow just as much as duals, sound tame as hell under part throttle conditions and still roar under full throttle. It all depends on the muffler used. Stay away from the Flowmaster, and go with either the Spintech (my favorite) or the Magnaflow muffler. Both of those flow way better and sound better than the Flowmaster. This is just my opinion, but it will help accomplish what you said you're looking for and won't hurt flow any. It does add a little weight, but if you're looking for weight reduction for the track, drop the over the axle pipe, and back half and get a turndown on the I-pipe and really scream!

Spintech does not sound tame under idle especially if you have a heads/cam combo. The magnaflow is the quietest exhaust I have ever heard under idle and hides just about anything except under WOT its loud as hell....
