comp cam question?
I prefer a cam with a broad powerband that hits hard in the low/midrange as opposed to a large cam that sacrifices below 3500ish rpm but pulls harder on top.
Were it a drag car though, that bigger cam could be faster at the track, depending on the gearing and total setup.
I'm a big fan of the comp XFI lobes. They are very versatile in that you can keep durations low, but have a respectable lift #.
They do require a well thought out and set up valvetrain though. As should be the case with any cam you choose.

This cam is good for a daily driver with a reasonable idle & will actually drive along in 6th gear at 1000rpm when tuned properly.
I have a used one for sale (in near perfect condition) if interested....
plus new 1.6 Crane Golds, 7/16" studs, new guideplates etc.
Have you considered something like a a CC503 (224/230 112LSA) ?
