FAST XFI Setup?
I want to build my car into a very serious daily driver, I know that sounds like a play on words or something. Anyway I would like to ditch the factory gauge panel in favor of some Autometers, but I still want to keep the AC and radio. It seems like from what I've read I could get away with a stand alone type harness and ditch the factory ECM all together? Like I said I still want to keep AC, all my interior lighting, and power functions(ie windows door locks).
What about getting rid of the Opti as well, is there any conversions out there aside from LTCC?
Thanks for any help.

however we also both have single plane manifolds with a provision for a dizzy. You'd have to modify your LT1 intake to accept the dizz cause the hole isn't there to begin with. You can do the XFI standalone but i'm not sure what effect it would have on AC. I'm going to think it wouldn't have any effect. FAST XFI has thought of everything nowadays. they make an opti harness so the XFI will plug directly into the opti and drive it....
You can ditch the factory gauge panel for autometers easily. the xfi box won't care as it has a plug in for RPM somewhere else.... all the other stuff it doesn't care about unless you purposely wire it in to datalog it or track it... Like oil pressure for example. You can use one of 4 analog inputs from the fast for stuff like that. some ppl do fuel pressure, oil pressure, nitrous pressure, trans temp, etc.... The%

I think that's all of em. You won't use your MAF since the XFI is a speed density based system... and you being 93 you don't have one so you're good....
As far as rewiring that's what I did. I completely ripped out the entire wiring harness from my car and started from scratch with a painless pro street wiring harness and switch panel. Worked great...
