Generic engine question
I realize this is probably not the best place to ask, I thank you for all patience and responses that I get.
I just bought a low mileage 2.3 mustang (45K miles) non-turbo.
The owner claims it has a "sticky" valve. I am planning on driving it about 45-50 miles from his house to mine tomorrow night. The car seems to run well, but I am still a bit concerned about having a sticky valve on a 50 mile Highway jaunt.
How concerned should I be?
I just updated my AAA to unlimited tow miles but I'd like to not be waiting around for a tow on the highway. Should I hold off and wait for my new AAA policy to kick in? Or if I take it easy should the car be alright.
Thanks again guys.
PS I still own my lt1 bird and only bought the stang to get me through the winter. I'll post pics soon. Either way after winter ends the car will be inheriting my current lt1 set up and my firebird will be absorbing a new LS2. CAN'T WAIT
