Default Low RPM, low load cam surge. What if I ....

...lower the spark advance in the affected areas?

Still fighting this low RPM, low load cam surge I have between 1500 and 2000 RPM. It appears nearly all the time in cells 6 & 10.

The one thing I notice on my in dash Scanmaster, in the above cells when the light bucking happens, is that spark advance is showing around 41 degrees. From researching on the net, I have read that many people say to try pulling some timing in the affected areas within the tune.

When driving 25 MPH, at 1700 RPM, and a MAP reading of 30-40KPA, the populated cells in the tune are approximately 40.

If I simply drop the timing in these areas, in the tune to 35 degrees, do you think it might reduce the cam surge and most importantly, am I going to frig anything up?
